LAKAS-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) vice presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte on Wednesday stressed the importance of knowledge in business to help fight hunger and poverty.

Speaking before a huge crowd during the “meet-and-greet” at the Cuneta Astrodome, Duterte reiterated the need to establish educational programs concerning businesses.

In Davao City, Duterte established the project “Magnegosyo ‘Ta Day,” which aims to provide economic opportunities to residents for them to become productive.

The project also offers free education on business and financial assistance to use as start-up capital.

Duterte vowed to look into the business sector in providing economic stability if she wins in the May polls.

Meanwhile, Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano lauded Duterte and urged the residents to support the UniTeam VP bet.

“We must choose someone like Sara who is service-driven so that we can continue to grow and develop as a Filipino nation.

Duterte was in Pasay City to meet with supporters in different barangays.

She also met with the Pasay City Market Vendors, Samar barangay officials, and Tawi-Tawi governor and mayors.
