Rider dies in truck-motorbike smashup
A 20-YEAR-OLD man on Saturday died when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a truck loaded with chickens at Sitio Balite, Bgy. Banilad, Nasugbu, Batangas.
The Nasugbu police identified the victim as Marc Letrero, a construction worker, and a resident of Sitio Kay Buol, Bgy. Toong, Tuy, Batangas.
Letrero was on a Yamaha Mio Sporty motorcycle traveling on the highway when he accidentally crashed into an Isuzu Forward truck driven by 43-year-old Ryan Japitana of Poblacion, San Isidro, Nueva.
The young victim was thrown off the motorcycle and sustained serious injuries which resulted in his instantaneous death.
