Remulla recovers from COVID-19
JUSTICE Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla will report back to work on Thursday after his antigen tests have already shown “negative” results.
“I’m ok na, negative na sa antigen for two days. But quarantine protocol is seven days. So working from home now,” Remulla said in a message on Monday.
For his part, Atty. Mico Clavano of the Office of the Secretary confirmed that Remulla is recovering from COVID-19 and will report back to work on Thursday.
Remulla tested positive for coronavirus last Thursday and immediately went into isolation.
“I have Covid. Tested positive Thursday. Very mild. But the protocol is seven days,” Remulla said in a message to reporters on Sunday.
Remulla ran unopposed as Cavite congressman in the province’s 7th congressional district.
He was appointed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to lead the Department of Justice (DOJ).
