Quezon most wanted nabbed in Laguna
LUCENA CITY— Operatives of the Quezon Police Provincial Office on Wednesday arrested in Siniloan, Laguna a rape suspect listed as the most wanted felon in Tayabas City, Quezon.
Quezon police director Col. Joel Villanueva identified the nabbed suspect as Francisco Fernandez Nanea, 75, a native of Brgy. Masin, Tayabas City.
Villanueva said Nanea was placed behind bars by virtue of an arrest order issued by Lucena City Regional Trial Court Presiding Judge Dennis Galahad Orendain.
Police records show the suspect was accused of raping a girl on the night of January 21, 2018 inside her house. The complaint was lodged by the victim’s mother.
The suspect did not resist when arrested at his hideout in Siniloan, Laguna.
