PRO3’s fight vs illegal drugs nets over P2M shabu
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – A series of anti-drug operations by members of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Wednesday have hauled to jail three drug peddlers while at least P2,074,000 worth of shabu was seized.
In Iba, Zambales, law enforcement agents arrested two suspects and confiscated approximately 250 grams of shabu valued at P1,700,000.
In Angeles City, an anti-illegal drug operation led to the arrest of a “high-value” target in possession of around 55 grams of shabu.worth P374,000.
All suspects are now under police custody and will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. said: “The Central Luzon police remains steadfast in our commitment to combat all forms of criminality, with a particular focus on the use and proliferation of illegal drugs. It is an undeniable factor in preserving peace and order within our communities.”
