PRO3 nabs 112 drug suspects in weeklong ops
THE Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) under the leadership of Regional Director, Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon, has arrested 112 drug personalities in a weeklong operations.
De Leon said they conducted continuous police operations to eradicate different illegal activities especially those involving illegal drugs, which is the priority program of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
In a report submitted to de Leon, the PRO 3 conducted 65 police operations which resulted in the arrest of 112 drug personalities from October 1 to 7.
The operations also resulted in the confiscation of 71.95 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P489,246.40 and 656.00 grams of marijuana with an estimated value of P78,720.00.
All arrested drug personalities were properly charged in court.
On anti-illegal gambling, a total of 35 operations were conducted which resulted to 140 persons arrested and confiscation of P35,019.
On anti-illegal logging, a total of four operations conducted which resulted in four persons arrested and with P460,010.50 seized.
De Leon again commended all their police personnel who are committed in ensuring peace and order in their region.
