PRO 12 police capture 5 NPA members
POLICE Regional Office 12 director Brigadier General Jimili L. Macaraeg yesterday announced the capture of five wanted New People’s Army rebels operating in the region.
Macaraeg identified the five as Pinge Landigan Agsem, 37; and his relatives Hali Watamama, 65; Henry Ugis, 25; Antis, 18; and Plag Ugis, 37.
The five were reportedly active members of the CPP/NPA Sub-Regional Command Daguma.
He added that Pinge Agsem has been listed as the no. 3 most wanted person in Sultan Kudarat and the most wanted man in Senator Ninoy Aquino town prior to his arrest.
The PRO12 director said that members of the SKPPO and the Senator Ninoy Aquino Municipal Police Station led in the arrest of the accused.
He said that the five were subjects of warrants of arrest for murder, attempted homicide and illegal possession of prohibited drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
