PNP R-PSB medical mission Tondo residents

SOME 1,000 poor residents of Smokey Mountain in Tondo, Manila yesterday benefitted from a medical and dental mission led by the Revitalized-Pulis sa Barangay or R-PSB program of the Philippine National Police.

New PNP Director for Police-Community Relations, Major General Edgar Alan O. Okubo graced the R-PSB Smokey Mountain Medical and Dental Mission spearheaded by the PNP-DPCR, the National Capital Region Police Office and Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. and the Chinese General Hospital.

Maj. Gen. Okubo said the program was part of the 28th Police-Community Relations Month celebration wherein the Smokey Mountain residents received medicines, eyeglasses, food packs and medical and dental assistance from CGH doctors.

Ms. Myrna Reyes of the Donate Philippines also collaborated with the PNP-DPCR and the NCRPO in helping the Smokey Mountain folks during the program held at the Permanent Housing, Paradise Heights in Barangay 128 in Balut, Tondo.
