MANILA residents have still five days to enjoy free rides on the Hop-on/Hop off (HOHO) bus tour of the Department of Tourism (DOT) that will drive them to the city’s heritage sites.

This after the Department of Tourism, Culture, and Arts of Manila (DTCAM) announced that all Manileños will have a chance to see Manila on board the HOHO bus for free which started on Friday, July 7 until July 14, unless Manila Mayor Marila Sheila “Honey” Lacuna-Pangan will extend the promo.

DTCAM Director Charlie “Mama Cha” Dungo, in his advisory, said Manila residents who want a new whole experience for free must present an ID card, showing residence in Manila.

He also advised all those who want to participate in the bus tours to download the Philippine Hop-on/Hop-off mobile application and sign up to create an account.

Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan said the HOHO bus tour will visit nine Manila cultural hubs from 10 a.m. up to 7 p.m., which includes Robinsons Place Manila; Rajah Sulayman Fountain; Rizal Park; National Museum; Malacañang heritage area; Manila City Hall; Escolta or Jones Bridge; Binondo and the historic Intramuros.

Local and foreign tourist or non-Manila residents can buy passes of the HOHO bus tours ranging from P1,000 to P2,500 depending on the length of their tour.
