SILANG, Cavite – A newly opened flower park and restaurant that is now visited by tourists in their “Instagrammable” (IG) place and offers authentic Asian cuisine located at Purok 5 Pulong Bunga Road here.

The newest food spot and flower park in Cavite, with a size of 3.5 hectares, is owned by business partners Horticulturists Boyet Ganigan and Dr. Fernando Silvestre Jr.

Situated in a rolling slope secluded village, “Perlas ng Silang” was a former pineapple plantation known in the said town.

Guests can “fall in love” with their fine alfresco dining area surrounded by colorful flowers and expensive imported ornamental plants that can accommodate around 400 individuals in their elegant dining area.

If you’re a flower or plant lover, plantito o plantita, and want to eat Asian food, then this place should be added to your bucket list.

Picturesque, relaxing, and a new experience are the perfect words that describe this place based on one of the guests interviewed by this writer.

A must-try is the Perlas ng Silang’s bestsellers dishes like Supreme Seafood Laksa, Pad Thai, vegetable spring rolls, mango sticky rice, and their fresh cucumber lime juice.

In an interview with Boyet Ganigan, Perlas ng Silang opened on June 16, 2022, amid the pandemic.

“We decided to open a restaurant with a flower park, but we didn’t foresee the volume of guests that would come because the area is beautiful,” Ganigan said.

According to Ganigan, many celebrities come here, like Troy Montero and Aubrey Miles, Gretchen Pulido, Korina Sanchez, and Cory Quirino, and also many vloggers who came in to feature the place and maybe from “word of mouth” of the guest who has been to the place and the viral social media post of individuals who have visited and eaten here.

“The reason why we situated the area here sa mas secluded village, kase kung sa highway kame maglalagay nito, hindi kakayanin yung volume ng mga vehicles na pupunta to dine and visit the park,” Ganigan added.

“Our place has around 500 different types of plants that I personally do the landscaping, kase nga we are the one of supplier of plants here in the Philippines,” Ganigan said.

“The name ‘Perlas ng Silang’ was created by us to help the local government unit here to be recognized – for the longest time because the town of Silang was [unpopular], it was like the ‘underdog’ of other towns in Cavite and also to recognize [Silang] as one of the horticulture towns in the country,” explained Ganigan.

The park is open from Mondays to Sundays, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
