PEOPLE’S Tonight celebrated its 50th anniversary on September 25, 2023, at the Philippine Journalists, Inc. (PJI) office in Port Area, Manila.

The celebration started with a thanksgiving mass at the PJI lobby officiated by Father Jun Macabinlar w ho was accompanied by Bro. Keith John Daos.

After the mass, Fr. Macabinlar blessed People’s Tonight’s editorial section and its hardworking staff.

A humble feast was enjoyed by personnel from other departments.

The event also marked the birthday celebration of People’s Tonight editor-in-chief Tess Lardizabal.

“On behalf of the staff, editors and reporters, People’s Tonight would like to thank all its well wishers and supporters who have helped make the tabloid remain on top amid the challengers. PT salutes the reporters, correspondents, information officers, government officials, advertisers and subscribers who have been instrumental in PT’s path to success. Mabuhay po kayo!,” said Lardizabal.
