Pagprotekta sa yamang dagat, palakasin pa –PBBM
UMAAPELA si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa publiko na magkaisa sa protekta sa yamang dagat sa bansa.
Sa talumpati ni Pangulong Marcos na binasa ni Tourism.Secretary Christina Frasco sa Philippine International Dive Expo (PHIDEX) 2024 sa Pasay City, sinabi nito na dapat na panatilihin ang standing ng Pilipinas bilang “a hotspot of biodiversity and underwater adventure,” sa pamamagitan ng strategic investment at sustainable tourism.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the time to dive into adventure has arrived. But let us do so with a profound respect for the delicate ecosystems that sustain life beneath the waves,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
“Together, let us be united in our efforts to take care of the pristine waters that cradle the ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ that we are determined to build,” dagdag ng Pangulo.
Hindi aniya dapat na mawala ang oaggalang sa buhay sa ecosystem.
“Through strategic investments in infrastructure and sustainable tourism initiatives, the government will continue to elevate our country’s standing as a hotspot of biodiversity and underwater adventure,” dagdag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Binigyang diin din ni Pangulong Marcos ang kahalagahan ng pribadong sektor.
Disyembre noong nakarang taon, binigyang pagkilala ang Pilipinas ng World Travel Awards 2023 bilang world’s leading beach destination at world’s leading dive destination.
“We look forward to showcasing new dive destinations and inviting potential investors to explore business opportunities in our thriving dive tourism sector,” pahayag ninLangulong Marcos.
Tema ngayong taon ang “Heart of Asia’s Diving: Collaboration for the Ocean Community.”
