P340K drugs seized from 2 drug suspects in Laguna
ILLEGAL drugs worth P340,000 and a gun were seized from suspected drug pushers by Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) operatives Wednesday afternoon in San Pablo City, Laguna.
Police Provincial Director PCol. Serafin Petalio II reported to CALABARZON Regional Director PBGen. Eliseo DC Cruz identified the arrested suspects as Jayson De Castro, 25, and Sanny Cayundong De Castro, 64, both of Bgy. San Cristobal, San Pablo City.
The Dug Enforcement Unit (DEU) conducted the buy bust around 1:15 p.m. under the supervision of PLt. Col. Garry Alegre, San Pablo police chief.
The suspects were nabbed after selling a plastic sachet containing suspected shabu to a cop who acted as a poseur buyer.
Police seized pieces from the suspects were 4 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 50 grams with estimated value of P340,000, cash, red pouch, .45 caliber magazine,black inside holster and live ammunition.
The arrested suspects and the seized drugs will be brought to the Provincial Crime Laboratory Office in Camp Paciano Rizal, Sta Cruz, for laboratory and drug test.
