Dump truck runs over teacher who sidelines as food delivery rider
A PUBLIC school teacher sidelinung as a food delivery rider died after he was run over by a dump truck in Davao City.
Victim Jon Lee, a teacher at the Doña Carmen Denia National High School, and a resident of 6 Venus St., Oiedad, Toril, Davao City, died on the spot, according to Talomo Police Station chief Maj. Sean Logronio.
Before Lee met his tragic death, he worked as a food delivery rider to sustain his family.
He was traveling on a motorcycle when he crashed into a dump truck at C.P Garcia Highway, Bypass Road in Ulas, Davao City.
The dump truck dragged the motorcycle and ran over the hapless teacher.
Lee was almost beyond recognition when pulled from under the truck.
Responding lawmen arrested the dump truck driver identified as Hector Sabangan Jr. of Midsayap, North Cotabato.
