LOCAL oil firms jacked up again the prices of their gasoline and diesel products while imposing a very minimal decrease of kerosene effective Tuesday.

Oil giant Petron Corporation and Pilipinas Shell announced an increase of their gasoline products by P0.60 centavos per liter, diesel by P0.10 centavos per liter while a decrease of P0.05 centavos per liter of kerosene effective at 6 a.m. today, Tuesday.

Chevron Philippines earlier implemented the same price adjustments of its gasoline, diesel and kerosene products, much earlier at 12:01 a.m. while small player Clean Fuel carried out the same price adjustment of its gasoline and diesel products at 4:01 p.m, also on Tuesday.

Independent oil firms PTT Philippines, Total Philippines, Petro Gazz and Seaoil also implemented the same price increase of their gasoline and diesel products effective at 6 a.m. Tuesday.

PTT Philippines Communication Officer Jhay Julian said the price adjustment mainly reflect movements in the international oil market.
