Minor held for rape
JAEN, Nueva Ecija – A minor accused of rape on Friday was arrested in this town.
Jaen police head Maj. Herbert Ocumen said the minor, described as a student, of Purok 3, Bgy. Lambakin, was taken into custody at 3 p.m. on Friday.
The official said the young suspect was arrested based on a warrant for statutory rape issued on January 23 by the Presiding Judge of the Gapan City Regional Trial Court Branch 36, with no bail recommended.
The young suspect is set to be turned over to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office for proper disposition.
