Metro bettor wins P7M lotto jackpot

A SOLE bettor from Metro Manila won the P7 million jackpot of Tuesday night’s Lotto 6/42 draw.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the winning number combination 19-31-11 -23-13-17 won the better a jackpot prize of P7,083,788 .

The winning ticket was purchased at a lotto outlet in Quirino Highway, Novaliches, Quezon City .

THE winner can claim their price at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City upon presentation of the winning ticket and two identification cards.

The bettor has one year to claim the prize.

Lotto winnings of over P10,000 shall be subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law.

Meanwhile, 57 other bettors won P24,000 each for guessing five out of the six winning numbers; 2,092 bettors will get P800 each for four correct digits; and 27,406 will settle for P20 each for three correct digits.

The 6/42 Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

PCSO urges the public to patronize the games as a large portion of the revenues goes to the government’s charity programs.
