Man stabs younger brother dead in Cavite
GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite – A 31-year-old man on Sunday stabbed his younger brother dead during a heated fight over family problem in Bgy. San Francisco, this city.
Slain was Barry Evora Cabrera, 27, while the suspect was his elder brother Billy Jan, of B18, L42, P6-B, Tierra Nevada Bgy. San Francisco, Gen. Trias City, Cavite, said a report to local police chief Lt. Col. Jose Naparato Jr..
Barry succumbed to a stab wound in the stomach.
An investigation by Sgt. Lauren D. Lubigan and Master Sgt. Cristopher Dumlao showed the killing occurred at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Cabreras’ home in Bgy. San Francisco.
The brothers argued over family woes until they exchanged blows, which further angered the elder brother.
Billy Jan then grabbed a knife and stabbed Barry.
Both brothers were rushed to the hospital, where Barry was declared dead on arrival.
