Man stabs 2, mistakes victims as attackers
TWO people, including a minor, were stabbed by a man who mistook them as the people who mauled him on Thursday night in Quezon City.
The victims were a 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy; both are still being treated at the East Avenue Medical Center.
A report from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 15 showed that the incident occurred along Mahogany Street in Barangay Vasra at around 11 p.m. (February 16).
It was learned that the victims were playing in front of a house when the 40-year-old suspect attacked them.
The suspect, who was also rushed to the same hospital, told investigators that a group of people allegedly mauled him along the same street.
He stabbed the victims after thinking they were the ones who “assaulted” him.
