Man shoots, kills live-in partner in Tanza
THE elements of Cavite Police have arrested a 25-year-old suspect for shooting and killing his live-in partner inside their house in a subdivision in Tanza, Cavite, early Monday morning, September 19, 2022.
Murder raps were filed against the suspect for killing his live-in partner in Barangay Biga, Tanza, Cavite.
The female victim was shot and killed around 3:00 a.m. Monday inside their home.
PSSgt. Jonathan Lagario of Tanza Police Station said the owner of the couple’s rented house heard gunshots and a child crying inside their house following the sound of a motorcycle leaving the area.
The owner of the house entered the couple’s house, where they found the victim bleeding and blindfolded on the bed while their son was in a corner crying.
During the investigation, two 9mm caliber gun casings were recovered from the crime scene.
Before the incident took place, the couple allegedly argued about their debts to various people. The two are fellow vendors.
The suspect was arrested in a follow-up operation and is now in the custody of authorities.
