Ma with 5 kids sells baby online for food
AUTHORITIES are investigating the case of a mother in Davao City who is allegedly selling her own baby online.
The mother is allegedly offering her to interested netizens for P10,000.
The mom supposedly claimed that she had already sold two of her five children.
The suspect added that she pushed her to sell her baby as she hadno money to buy food.
In a subsequent post, the mother apologized and explained she was only forced by her husband to sell their baby.
She added that her husband threatened to kill her if she told anyone about his order.
An investigation is ongoing on the baby-for-sale online post, which went viral, and reached the knowledge of the authorities.
The Women and Children’s Protection Desk and the Davao City Cybercrime Group are investigating the case.
