Lightning kills mom, hurts 2 kids
A 34-YEAR-OLD woman died while her two children were injured by a lightning that struck them while at home in Antique.
Police identified the fatality as Lourdeliza Vergara Trogo, 34, and the injured, her kids Rutchel Jauod, 4; and Princess Jauod, 1-year-old, of Bgy. Jaguiquican in Laua-an.
Lourdeliza was cooking when lightning suddenly struck hit their home.
The ill-fated mom died on the spot from severe burn wounds head, chest and leg wounds.
Her children sustained burns on the stomach and armpits.
The wounded toddlers were rushed by neighbors to the nearest hospital for treatment.
