Lee O’Brian, ‘undesirable alien,’ ayon sa abogado ni Pokwang
Sumagot ang kampo ni Pokwang sa inihaing counter affidavit ni Lee O’Brian hinggil sa petition for deportation and visa cancellation na nauna nang inihain ng komedyana.
Matatandaang nagsagawa ng legal na hakbang si Pokwang para mapa-deport ang dati niyang partner pero inalmahan ito ni Lee at nagsumite ng counter affidavit.
Sa kanyang Instagram Story ay ibinahagi ni Pokwang ang official statement ng kanyang abogadong si Atty. Ralph Calinisan tungkol dito.
“We maintain that Mr. William Lee O’Brian must be deported immediately from the Philippines. Undesirable aliens have no place in this country. With this case we are pursuing, we are putting a stop to the gross manipulation of Philippine immigration laws and the acts of abuse against our client, Ms. Marietta Subong.
“The Philippines must be a safe place for everyone, especially us Filipinos,” ang pahayag ni Atty. Calinisan.
Sa panayam naman ni MJ Marfori ng TV5 kay Lee ay sinabi nitong nananatili ang respeto at pagmamahal niya kay Pokwang.
“I’d like to say is first of all, above everything, I always have respect for the mother of my child,” Lee said.
Nakiusap siyang sana ay maging patas ang batas sa pagdedesisyon sa reklamo ni Pokwang dahil alam niyang sikat at very influential ito.
“I want to say something, that from the beginning, throughout until today and beyond from here on out, I always put the best interest of my daughter first. I love my daughter more than anything.
“And I’d like to say also, given the fact that the complainant is very well-known, widely known throughout this country and very, very influential, I am basically asking and pleading with the Philippine government and the Bureau of Immigration to look at my case, my deportation case, fairly and with justice, according to the merits of the case.
“And whatever I filed here, I would plead with them to look at it justly,” pahayag ni Lee.
