Las Piñas MWP falls in Cavite
IMUS CITY, Cavite – The Las Pinas City Police Station’s no. 1 “Most Wanted Person” (MWP) was arrested in Green Gate Homes Phase 2, Malagasang 2-B, around 5:00 p.m. of May 1, 2022.
SPD (Southern Police District) Director P/Brig. Gen. Jimili L. Macaraeg identified the accused as Jayson Manlapat, alias “Justine”, 35, a meat vendor.
According to the police report, a joint operation of elements of WSS and SIDMS Las Piñas City Police under the leadership of P/Col. Jaime Santos, cops arrested the accused, who has a warrant of arrest for murder issued by Hon. Judge Harold Cesar C. Huliganga of Regional Trial Court, Branch 254, Las Piñas City, dated February 24, 2022, with no recommended bail.
The accused is presently detained at the Station Custodial Facility of Las Piñas City.
“I would like to commend our operating units for the successful manhunt operation that resulted in the apprehension of Las Piñas Top 1 [MWP], this only manifests that our men are doing their job in catching individuals belonging to the wanted list,” P/Brig. Gen. Macaraeg said.
