JOSE Manalo and Wally Bayola are excited to be chosen to be the new hosts/pranksters of the gag show originally hosted by Joey de Leon, “Wow Mali”. It’s now aired on TV5 and the home of funny, fell good shows, Buko Channel, and its reinvigorated title is now “Wow Mali: Doble Tama!”.

Recognized as the country’s original prank show on TV, “Wow Mali” was a big hit among Filipinos when it first aired in 1996. Packed with hilarious ‘candid camera’ pranks and matched with the witty hosting of seasoned prank master Joey De Leon, the show instantly became a household term for nonstop laughter, practical jokes, hilarious bloopers, and naughty tricks.

This August, this memorable legacy show returns to deliver leveled up naughty mischief, hilarious gags, and tricky antics as “Wow Mali: Doble Tama,” hosted by this generation’s wackiest comedy duo and now the show’s new Prankmasters, Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola.

This is the 4th show of Jose on Saturdays. He’s seen as one of the hosts of “E.A.T.” on TV5 at noontime. Then on GMA-7, he is seen in two shows at primetime. He is one of the judges in “Battle of the Judges” at 7:15 and he is a regular in the cast of the sitcom “Open 24/7” at 9:30 PM.

And now, he is also a mainstay prankster in “Wow Mali”. No wonder some folks are calling him the new king of local TV.

“Sinuwerte lang po na dumami ang shows ko kung Sabado,” he says. “Nagpapasalamat po ako kay Lord sa dami ng blessings na ibinibigay Niya sa akin.
