A JAPANESE national on Thursday was found hanging and dead on a bridge in Pampanga.

A report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. by Mabalacat City police chief Lt. Col. Abraham Abayari identified the victim as Takeoka Kazuki, a 42-year-old Japanese engineer billeted at Rm. 516, Midori Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

Kazuki’s body was positively identified by his Korean co-worker.

The CDC PSD Command Center at Clark Freeport Zone said they were informed of the incident and interviewed Yim Seungchan, 29, a Korean co-worker of the Kazuki at Texas Instruments located inside the Clark Freeport Zone.

Both foreigners are temporarily staying at the Midori Hotel.

Yim told police that the night before Kazuki was found dead, they went to their own room and agreed to meet in the hotel lobby at 8 a.m. the next day to go to work together.

However, Kazuki did not show up at the hotel lobby and at work until he was later found hanging on the bridge.
