PASAY CITY. – In a heartfelt ceremony, an Indian philanthropist received the prestigious Doctor Honoris Causa from the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) – Las Pinas city campus on October 11, 2023 during the 44th Commencement Exercises of Graduate School, Baccalaureate and Non Degree and 11th Graduation rites of Doctor of Medicine with this year’s theme :

The event was attended by esteemed guests of honors and speakers Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte and Senator Sherwin Gatchalian and the Tamayo family, marking a significant milestone in the recipient’s lifelong journey.
The honoree expressed deep gratitude to the Tamayo family, especially Dr. Brigadier General Antonio Laperal Tamayo, for their unwavering support and visionary leadership.
