Ignacio is new MPT South president-GM
THE events of the past two years have provided Metro Pacific Tollways (MPT) South Management Corporation with both the need and the opportunity to accelerate the digitalization of their key processes and initiate “holistic” business transportation.
Operating in a post-pandemic scenario, MPT South is working to ensure that the programs are pursued in a structured manner under the newly appointed president and general manager (GM) of MPT South Management Corporation, Raul Ignacio.
Ignacio is succeeding Robert V. Bontia.
Ignacio has extensive years of experience and expertise with a tenure that started with North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corporation and has led its initial venture into the mobility space by heading “MPT Mobility” since 2020.
Meanwhile, Bontia has been designated as Chief Transformation Officer to head the Business Transformation Office of Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation in a full-time capacity.
As one of the MPT’s most senior executives, Bontia will ensure the effective implementation of vital groupwide transformation projects.
