CAMP VICENTE LIM, Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna — The Regional Highway Patrol Unit 4A based on this camp, together with the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group and other civic groups, conducted a one-day “Barangayanihan” outreach program in Cavite City.

RHPU 4A community relations officer Capt. Dyne Moreno said

the project benefitted 200 elementary school pupils from Bgy. Pook, Zone 48M, Sangley Point, where school supplies and other gift packs containing slippers were given.

Moreno said their unit, which is headed by RHPU 4A chief Col. Samson Belmonte, is always challenged to abide by the PNP Core Values: “Maka-Diyos, Maka-tao, Maka-bansa at Maka-kalikasan.”

She said since the pandemic has hit each one of us, our everyday lives have changed, and unfortunately, most of us have experienced difficulty breezing through the health problem brought by COVID-19.

“This is why the RHPU4A, in staying true to our commitment to create a positive impact in children’s lives, has launched an outreach program in an effort to combat this ever-persistent challenge in our society and education,” Moreno said.

The official thanked various civic groups and riders from FSRAP Cavite, CDM EAgles Club, Lakas Bagwis, Class Pagbabago and Class Magilas Riders for helping them accomplish the task.
