Frasco meets with Negrense artists
TOURISM Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco met with Negrense artists at the art district in Bacolod City on the sidelines of the recent Panaad sa Negros Festival.
Secretary Frasco joined Charlie Co, and several other artists as they visit the Orange Project art gallery, a huge space that spans half a block that houses restaurants, bars, and art galleries containing artworks of local artists living in the island of Negros Occidental.
Co, the owner of the art district, showed the Secretary and her party around its wide space of Negrense art which featured sculptures, paintings, and murals depicting a wide range of topics including societal issues and Filipino culture.
She was joined by artists Manny Montelibano, RA Tijing, Jay-R Delleva, Jovito Hecita, Jun Jun Montelibano, Frelan Gonzaga, Janrey Llegue, Neil Benavente, Brandon Braza, Daryl Feril, Faye Abantao, Karina Broce Gonzaga, and DOT Undersecretaries Shereen Pamintuan and Ferdinand Jumapao.
