Female top drug target in Metro Manila nabbed
A 27-YEAR-OLD woman who was the top drug target of the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group was arrested in a buy-bust operation Thursday in Quezon City.
PNP-DEG director Brigadier General Narciso D. Domingo said Milky Buala Alcala was arrested at No. 12 Hawk Alley Street in Barangay Ibaba, Batasan Hills, Q.C. after she sold a kilo of shabu worth P6.8 million to an undercover officer.
According to Domingo, his men were assisted by members of the National Capital Region Police Office Regional Drug Enforcement Agency, the Q.C. Batasan Hills Station, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission in the conduct of the anti-narcotics operation.
The official said they have been getting support from the PAOCC led by its Executive Director Gilbert DC Cruz in their ongoing stepped-up war on drugs particularly targeting so-called ‘high-value individuals’ (HVI).
Recovered from the possession of the suspect were the kilo of shabu valued at P6.8 million, the P600,000 worth of buy-bust money, a cell phone she used in making contact with the poseur and a weighing scale.
