INIHALINTULAD ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta sa film debut niyang Dear Heart noong dekada ’80 ang Metro Manila Film Festival entry nila ni Alden Richards para sa Cineko Productions na Family of Two.

Although magkaiba ang storyline dahil kwento ng first love ang first team-up nila ni Gabby Concepcion habang kwento naman ng mag-ina ang sa kanila ni Alden, pareho umano ito sa aspetong ng “truth, simplicity at beauty.”

Sey ni Sharon sa mediacon ng Family of Two, “It’s like Dear Heart, my first movie. It’s like ‘truth, simplicity and beauty.’ So I find those three things in this movie as well. That’s why I said I miss making movies like this.”

Hindi lang sa kagandahan ng proyekto na-in love si Mega kundi sa anak-anakan at co-star din niyang si Alden.

Ayon sa kanya, “He’s handsome, he’s a good actor, a great co-worker. Ang face niya (is) made for the screen. His eyes are more expressive on screen. Of course, expressive na. Pero seriously, (this is) one of the best working experiences of my life and one of the happiest.”

Hindi lang naman si Alden ang puring-puri ni Sharon kundi maging ang direktor nilang si Nuel Naval (ng Family Matters at Miracle in Cell No. 7), writer na si Mel del Rosario, staff, crew at support cast tulad nina Miles Ocampo, Jackie Lou Blanco at Pepe Herrera.

“I’m in love with this movie,” paulit-ulit na saad pa ni Sharon.
