PALAYAN CITY — Chief PNP General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar interacted with City Mayor Adrianne Mae “Rianne” Cuevas and other local chief executives for their various concerns during the first visit of the country’s top cop to Nueva Ecija’s capital city here on Friday.

The Chief PNP came here to inspect the city police station headed by Lt. Col. Renato C. Morales and found that it was compliant with the norms set under the Intensified Cleanliness Policy (ICP) he ordered for the entire 228,000-strong national police force to follow and implement.

It was the fourth police station which Eleazar inspected in the province. The first three were the San Antonio, San Leonardo and the Cabanatuan City police stations.

During his visit, Eleazar stressed that keeping the police stations always in spic and span condition should be a top priority because it serves as “the window to the soul of the Philippine National Police,” he told Morales and his men.

Mayor Cuevas thanked the Chief PNP for also visiting the city hall and interacting with employees of the local government unit as well other Nueva Ecija mayors who came all the way here to express their full support to the police general in his fight against illegal drugs and all forms of criminality.
