Ecija’s no. 6 MWP falls
TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija – This town’s number six “most wanted person” (MWP) for rape was collared during manhunt operations on Thursday.
Police head Lt. Col. Jackyll I. Bilibli said the suspect did not resist arrest during the operation jointly conducted by his men with members of the 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), the PIU-NEPPO, and the Nueva Ecija Criminal Investigation and Detection Team at 3:10 p.m.
Bilibli said the suspect was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant for rape issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 88 of Baloc, Sto. Domingo on August 1, 2022, with no recommended bail.
The suspect is now locked up in detention for proper disposition.
