Driver with 8 warrants of arrest falls in Orani
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A 30-year-old driver and one of the most wanted persons in Region 3 with eight warrants of arrest for different cases was arrested on Wednesday in Orani, Bataan.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon identified the arrested suspect as Allan dela Cruz alias Paeng, a member of Viray crime group operating in Bulacan and resident of Bgy. Mahipon, Gapan, Nueva, Ecija.
Dela Cruz was arrested by joint operatives of Bulacan and Bataan police in Bgy. Talimundoc, Orani, based on warrants of murder, frustrated murder and attempted murder.
Also nabbed in the operation were Dela Cruz companions Larry Tamayo, 52, and Reggie Mariano, both of Luakan, Dinalupihan; Alden Marino, of Tabing Ilog, Samal; Andre Pelagio, of Bgy. Mambog, Hermosa; Rommel Regala, of Bgy. Mambog, Hermosa; and Arthur Cabiling, of Bgy. Mandama, Hermosa, while unloading several boxes of imported chicken in container van bound for Marilao, Bulacan.
Confiscated from Dela Cruz was a loaded .45 pistol while the Toyota Fortuner with plate number CAM 6045 he was using was impounded.
De Leon lauded the troops for a job well done adding there will be no safe haven for lawless elements as they will be arrested.
