Covid cases in Cavite dropping

TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite – The number of Covid cases in Cavite has gradually decreased after it plunged last month based on the records of the Cavite Provincial Information Office, Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

Cavite has recorded only 679 active cases for the city’s seven cities and 16 towns of the province, compared to the 1,655 active cases recorded last month on August 13, 2022.

Cavite recorded a total of 181,381 total cases, 177,026 recoveries, and 3,671 deaths recorded since it broke out in the country.

The city of Bacoor, Imus, Kawit, Tanza, and General Trias were the five localities with the highest number of active cases, with 183, 110, 97, 70, and 63, respectively.

While the “PinasLakas Booster” campaign continues in every town and city here to intensify the COVID-19 vaccination program that has been dropped in every barangay, school, and workplaces, such as factories and special economic zones in the province

General Trias City Mayor Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer IV encouraged residents to vaccinate with the available 1st, 2nd, and booster shots for everyone’s safety against Covid.
