CIDG men capture 2 most wanted

PHILIPPINE National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) director, Brigadier General Ronald O. Lee on Sunday announced the capture of two of the country’ most wanted persons during separate operations in the countryside.

In a report to PNP chief, General Rodolfo S. Azurin Jr., the official identified the suspects as Jeffrey Moscosa and Arnante Domingo Jr. Both have been tagged as among the top most wanted persons in Calabarzon region prior to their arrest.

He said that Moscosa, wanted for murder and frustrated murder cases, was arrested on Wednesday in Barangay Luzviminda 2 in Dasmariñas City in Cavite.

Members of the Laguna CIDG Provincial Field Unit headed by Lieutenant Colonel Nestor Cusi and the Rapid Deployment Battalion of the PNP Special Action Force tracked down the suspect in his hiding place past 10P.m. Wednesday.

Brig. Gen. Lee said Judge Joel Socrates Lopena of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 80 and Judge Francisco Pano of the San Pedro City RTC Branch 93 in Laguna ordered the arrest of the suspect respective on murder and frustrated murder cases last March 3 and on September 8, 2017.

Domingo, a 24-year old construction worker wanted for two counts of rape was collared in Bgy. 7, Panungyanan, General Trias City in Cavite last Thursday.

Judge Flordeliz Fargas of the Trece Martirez City RTC Branch 5 in Cavite recommended no bail for the temporary liberty of the accused last November 8.

Brig. Gen. Lee said members of the CIDG National Capital Region Field Unit under Colonel Hansel M. Marantan arrested the suspect.
