CIDG agents collar 5 crime suspects
PHILIPPINE National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group director Major General Romeo M. Caramat Jr. announced the capture of five crime suspects.
Members of the CIDG Region 3 office under Colonel Sancho Mercado arrested three of the five suspects identified only as alias Lester, 42; Michelle, 35; and Dennis, 37.
‘Lester’ was arrested for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 in Brgy. Balsik, Hermosa, Bataan while Michelle was tracked down in Brgy. Mabatang in Abucay, Bataan.
Dennis, wanted for violation of Republic Act 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law, was apprehended in Brgy. Sta. Rita in Olongapo City.
The two other suspects, alias Warren, 67; and Jojo, 36, were arrested by CIDG Region 7 agents in Negros Oriental.
Warren was arrested in Brgy. Pal-ew in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental on the strength of a warrant for two counts of rape with no bail recommended.
Jojo was arrested in Brgy. Banga in Bayawan City, Negros for murder.
