Cavite engineer bags Ms U Philippines-Naic crown
NAIC, Cavite–Mary Rose Guiral, a 23-year-old engineer, of Brgy. Bancaan, Naic, Cavite was crowned as the first ever Miss Universe Philippines-Naic during the grand coronation night at the covered court in Brgy. Poblacion last Sunday.
Guiral also bagged the Miss Friendship award besting nine other candidates.
Jezreal De Ocampo of Brgy. Bancaan got the Miss Philippines Naic 2024 and Best in Swimsuit awards. Sheel Aniel of Brgy. Calubcob was 1st runner up, Hyacinth Cayetano of Brgy. Ibayo Silangan was 2nd runner up and Kaye Pastelero, 3rd runner up.
Shamcey Supsup-Lee, national director of Miss Universe Philippines led the program together with Ms. Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez, fashion designer Jojie Lloren and pageant organizer Jacinta Remulla.
Guiral, a mechanical engineering graduate from the Polytechnic University of the Philippine-Alfonso, Cavite, is also Miss World Philippines-Naic 2021 Mutya ng Naic 2023, a model and current executive assistant at Luminescence.
De Ocampo, 24, is a freelance commercial, print ad and digital model and a former student athlete and Ms Cavite State U 2022.
