Cavite City ground breaks city college building
CAVITE CITY — The city government here formally broke ground for the construction site of the four- storey Cavite City College Building located at Sea Breeze, Barangay 28, Taurus, on September 12, 2022.
Mayor Denver Chua and Vice Mayor Raleigh Rusit together with city dads led the burying of a time capsule in a 1,600-square meter government property.
“Isa po ang education sa mga priority programs ko para sa mga kababayan ko kaya po minadali ko po ang pagpapa-umpisa dito. Our goal is to give our Caviteños a 1st class College building, facility and education so that they no longer have to travel out of our city,” Chua said.
The project is just one of the activities for the weeklong Cavite City day celebration that was launched on September 3, 2022.
Other activities include the Alay Lakad for Cavite City Youth, Coastal cleanup drive, Comelon 2002 Comida de Ayer Food Fair, Araw ng mga Kawani and the XIII Martyrs Day on September 12 and the unveiling of the new PNP Cavite city Headquarters situated at the back of Ciudad de Cavite Public Market on September 13.
