The event was attended by Director General (DG) Captain Jim Sydiongco, Deputy Director General for Operations and Flight Service Inspectorate Service (FSIS) OIC (Officer-in-Charge) Captain Donaldo Mendoza, Training Organizations Certification and Inspection Division (TOCID) OIC Captain Victor Aguilar, and Licensing and Certification Department (LCD) OIC Captain Huberto Ramos.

DG Sydiongco further mentioned that it is important, now more than ever, for ATOs to maintain focus and grounded on training and developing the competencies of their students and equipping them with the capacity to navigate through all kinds of thinkable conditions.

Earlier this week, DG Jim Sydiongco also participated in the Changi Aviation Summit (CAS) held in Singapore, where ministers, civil aviation regulators, chief executives of airlines, and other captains of the civil aviation industry from 45 countries gathered to exchange views on key issues, such as the recovery of the aviation sector from the COVID-19 pandemic, aviation sustainability, and the environment.
