Bulacan cops net 259 law breakers, P768K illegal drugs

CAMP GEN ALEJO S. SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan – The Bulacan police’s Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation from December 9 to 15 yielded at least P768,000 worth of illegal drugs, 259 law breakers and several firearms.

Bulacan police acting director Col. Manuel Lukban Jr. said his men confiscated a total of P768,077.60 worth of illegal drugs in a series of drug busts, arrested 90 drug suspects and recovered 329 sachets of shabu, 29 sachets of dried marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia and marked money.

Meanwhile, eight most wanted persons and 88 others were arrested in different manhunt operations.

In addition, a .38 revolver was recovered from suspect Gieboy Yangco, alias Iboy, of Muzon, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), Bulacan by the CSJDM Police Station.

Some 72 persons were arrested in different anti-illegal gambling operations by the personnel of Angat, Balagtas, Baliwag, Bocaue, Bustos, DRT, Malolos, Marilao, Meycauayan, Pandi, San Ildefonso, San Rafael and CSJDM police.

The suspects were caught playing tong-its, pusoy, bet game, billiard games, cara y cruz and bookies. Confiscated bet money amounted to P22,276.

The “Oplan Katok” week-long operation yielded 70 firearms that were surrendered to different police stations for safekeeping, while 751 unregistered motorcycles were impounded.
