Daddy killed, 2 kids hurt by raging neighbor
CAVITE CITY, Cavite — A father died while undergoing treatment while his children were injured by a raging neighbor on Father’s Day in Barangay 32 here.
Officer-on-case Police Senior Master Sergeant (PSMS) Jonathan Baclas identified the victims as Jan Angelo Cabaquit, 52; alias Aviery, 14; and Mark Allan Cabaquit, 21. All the victims are residents of 935 P. Justo St, Brgy 32, Cavite City.
The suspect was identified as John Vincent Cabaquit, 27, resident of 935 P.Justo St, Brgy. 32, Cavite City.
According to a police report, the victims were inside their room when the suspect appeared from an adjacent room and stabbed them repeatedly.
Relatives of the victims identified as Roy Jay Cabaquit, a member of the Philippine Navy and his cousin Riel Madera arrested and hogtied the suspect and turned him over to responding local cops.
The victims were rushed to Bautista Hospital where Jan Angelo Cabaquit died later.
The two other victims are in stable condition.
