BBM camp thanks TUCP, affirms unity with labor
THE Chief of Staff and Spokesman of presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos expressed gratitude to the Trade Union of the Philippines (TUCP), its officers and members nationwide, for “heeding the wisdom in our call for national unity and endorsing the BBM-Sara UniTeam.”
Atty. Vic Rodriguez said UniTeam is one with the TUCP in working for the welfare of the Filipino workers and their families and stressed that “we have always held that the labor sector is a very strong ally in the movement towards economic recovery and healing from the dangers, hardships and sufferings brought about by the pandemic.”
Rodriguez pointed out that UniTeam aims to create more jobs, which is “the most pressing need of the vast majority of Filipinos right now, and if given s chance to serve the nation, addressing the concerns of workers shall be a top priority, because in solving the challenges of this sector we would already have ironed out a fairly big chunk of the problems being faced
m country today.”
