Baguio tattoo artist busted for drugs
A HIGH Value Individual (HVI) tattoo artist was arrested for allegedly selling illegal drugs in Lower Balacbac, Santo Tomas Proper, Baguio City Thursday evening.
Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PRO-COR) Director, PBGen. Ronald Oliver Lee identified the arrested suspect as Darryl Martin Clemente, 28, tattoo artist, and listed as a High Value Drug personality of Baguio City Police Office (BCPO).
BCPO Director PCol. Allen Rae Co reported that joint operatives of BCPO and PDEA-Baguio arrested the suspect for selling illegal drugs to an operative who acted as a poseur buyer.
Seized during the operation were two plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 1.0 gram with estimated value of P6,800, an android cellphone, buy bust money and one black/orange RUSI motorcycle.
The inventory and markings of all evidence seized were done in the presence of a DOJ and media representative and the Punong Barangay of Santo Tomas.
Clemente will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165).
