Another solon backs Sandro as deputy majority leader
ANOTHER member of the majority bloc defended the election of Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos as Deputy Majority Leader.
According to Aklan Rep. Teodorico Haresco Jr., he is confident that Marcos can do his job well and can contribute to the works of the House of Representatives.
“Rep. Sandro Marcos’ election as Senior Deputy Majority Leader fits President Bongbong Marcos’ action-laden SONA to a tee,” Haresco said.
On July 26, at the beginning of the plenary session of the lower chamber, the majority bloc elected the young legislator and president’s son.
“Sandro surprised all of us – his peers with his intellect and oratorical skills sponsoring Speaker Martin Romualdez, his former principal. I just knew him all these years as a humbly smiling and organizing special assistant of then Majority Leader Romualdez. Back then, one can easily see Rep. Sandro as a gem with his presence of mind and positivity,” Haresco added.
The seasoned legislator affirmed that Rep. Sandro with Majority Leader Mannix Delipe shall well accomplish the agenda of the President without ado and within the time frame expected.
