‘Abusayaf’ nabbed for gun, ammo in San Pascual

AUTHORITIES nabbed a worker during the implementation of a search warrant in his residence at Sitio Ayala, Barangay Poblacion, in San Pascual, Batangas, at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday.

San Pascual Munipal Police Station (MPS) head cop P/Maj. Ricardo D. Dalisay identified the suspect with the alias “Roland Seduaco Abusayaf”, a resident of the said barangay.

The San Pascual town police served a search warrant against the suspect for a violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), which was issued by Presiding Judge Amiel Raymond O. Pargas, Municipal Trial Court (MTC) of San Pascual, Batangas on September 28.

The search team led by P/SSg. Kevin Aba Savillo recovered one black sling bag containing a gun holster and three pieces of live bullets for cal. 12 GA, three pieces of live ammunition, and five cartridge casings for cal .45 inside the suspect’s room.

Upon verification, the suspect failed to present any legal documents that he is authorized to own or possess any firearms, prompting the officer to arrest him.
