Game over for man playing video games, shot dead
A MAN was shot dead while playing games on his cellular phone and a former Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) was wounded in separate shooting incidents Sunday morning by unidentified armed suspects Saturday morning in San Pedro City and San Pablo City, Laguna.
Laguna OIC Provincial Director PCol. Cecilio Ison Jr., in a report to Calabarzon Regional Director P/BGen. Antonio Yarra, said Melform Basa Moreno, of Bgy. Sampaguita, San Pedro City was shot in front of his house at around 12:30 a.m.
The killer escaped.
In San Pablo City, a certain Joel Manalo Esala, was rushed to tje San Pablo City Medical Center after he was shot by an unidentified armed suspect at around 6:50 a.m. inside his house in Bgy. Sta Monica.
The unidentified suspect clad in a black hoody jacket pretended to be a courier agent repeateadly shot the victim’s legs and back.
San Pablo Police City chief PLT. Col Gary Alegre are conducting a follow-up operation for the suspect’s arrest.
