A 63-YEAR-OLD widow died when she was accidentally ran over by a motorcycle while she was crossing the highway Saturday in Batangas City.

Batangas City police investigator PSMS Doni Irvin D. Casayuran identified the fatality as Emelia Florez, jobless, and resident of B2 L17, Relocation Site, Bgy. Balete.

The suspect was identified as Arcanhel Magpantay, 40, married, a Bureau of Customs Employee and resident of Bgy. Dita, Cuenca.

Accordingly, at around 8 a.m.,

The victim was crossing the highway in Bgy. Balete when hit at around 8 a.m. by the Suzuki Smash Motorcycle (DC 56537) driven by Magpantay which was heading towards Cuenca .

The widow died while undergoing treatment for serious injuries at the United Doctors of St. Camillus De Lellis Hospita.

The attending physician was Dr. Joel A. De Jesus.

The driver and his motorcycle is now under the custody of the station for proper disposition.

Meanwhile, a man died when the motorcycle he was driving collided with an oncoming motorcycle in Bgy. Mayasang, Lemery at 8:20 p.m.

Killed was Kim Carlo Pelagio, 28, single, resident of Bgy. Niogan.

The suspect was identified as Kayvin Itak,26, of Bgy. San Isidro Itaas.

Investigators gathered that a black Honda Beat FI motorcycle collided with a black Rusi Neptune without plate number driven by Itak.

Pelagio died while undergoing treatment for severe injuries in the head and body rushed at the Metro Lemery Medical Center.

The other driver is undergoing treatment in the same hospital.
