LABOR DAY – Si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. at Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez sa ika-122 selebrasyon ng Labor Day na may temang “Sa Bagong Pilipinas: Manggagawang Pilipino, Kabalikat at Kasama sa Pag-asenso” sa Ceremonial Hall ng Malacañang Palace, Miyerkules ng umaga.
KAMARA PARA SA MANGGAGAWA
NANGAKO si Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez na patuloy na itataguyod ang kapakanan ng mga manggagawa, kasama na ang mga Pilipinong nagtatrabaho sa ibayong dagat.
“As we mark this important day, let us also reaffirm our commitment to the welfare of our workers. It is imperative that we continue to work towards legislation that guarantees fair labor practices, promotes safety and health standards, and ensures that the benefits of our growing economy are felt by all,” ani Speaker Romualdez sa kanyang mensahe ngayong Labor Day.
“The government is steadfast in its resolve to create more job opportunities and to foster an environment where labor rights are protected and economic opportunities flourish. We pledge to enhance our efforts in equipping our workforce with the skills needed for the jobs of tomorrow through robust education and training programs,” sabi pa nito.
Kinilala rin ng lider ng Kamara, na mayroong mahigit 300 kinatawan, ang kahalagahan ng mga manggagawa, nasa Pilipinas man o ibang bansa, sa pag-unlad ng ekonomiya.
“On this Labor Day, we join hands to honor the formidable spirit and relentless dedication of Filipino workers, the backbone of our nation. Today, we celebrate not just their hard work and resilience, but also their indispensable role in shaping the Philippines into a thriving, dynamic society,” saad pa ni Speaker Romualdez.
Sinabi ni Speaker Romualdez na kilala ang mga manggagawang Pilipino sa pagkakaroon ng natatanging work ethics, pagiging malikhain, at kakayanan na umangat sa mga hamon na kinakaharap nito.
“These attributes have not only fueled our industries at home but have also made them highly respected on the global stage. Our overseas Filipino workers, who brave distance and sacrifice, deserve special recognition for their contributions to both the Philippines and the economies of their host countries,” wika pa ng lider ng Kamara.
Ipinaabot din ni Speaker Romualdez ang pasasalamat sa bawat manggagawang Pilipino ng Kamara de Representantes.
“Your hard work, resilience and patriotism drive the progress of our nation. Together, let us continue to uphold and protect the dignity of labor as we move forward to a brighter and more prosperous future,” dagdag pa nito.
